The Challenge

The gourmet burger market has taken the UK market by storm. Burger & Beer Cambridge spotted an opportunity and a decision was made to setup a Take-Away with a twist. As a new start up, the business needed a brand to go with its website.

The Solution

The distinctive B artwork was created by Xplr Design which was to feature on menus, flyers and social media. Two pages were created to welcome customers and showcase its simple yet tasty menu as well as a blog so the Burger & Beer team could keep content fresh on the site.

A mailing list page was also created and promoted through Social Media to entice customers to the pending opening day to receive special offers.

100+ email subscribers

Before the launch of the business, the website had helped secure over 100 email subscribers that expressed an interest in trying a Burger & Beer.

21% traffic came through Google Search

Without having to use paid for advertising, 21% of the first month traffic came through Google Search

Still room to Xplr

Since the launch in October 2017, the business has seen growth through its social media channels and website traffic. Keeping costs down for the business is key, so the introduction of a call now button on the home screen allowing customers to call instead of order online meant that less revuene is being lost to the Take Away app giants.
